His brothers also came and fell down before him and said, Behold, we are your servants. (Gén 50:19)  -  1 / 80.

But Joseph said to them, Do not fear, for am I in the place of God? (Gén 50:20)  -  2 / 80.

As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today. (Gén 50:21)  -  3 / 80.

So do not fear; I will provide for you and your little ones. Thus he comforted them and spoke kindly to them. (Gén 50:22)  -  4 / 80.

So Joseph remained in Egypt, he and his fathers house. Joseph lived 110 years. (Gén 50:23)  -  5 / 80.

And Joseph saw Ephraims children of the third generation. The children also of Machir the son of Manasseh were counted as Josephs own. (Gén 50:24)  -  6 / 80.

And Joseph said to his brothers, I am about to die, but God will visit you and bring you up out of this land to the land that he swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. (Gén 50:25)  -  7 / 80.

Then Joseph made the sons of Israel swear, saying, God will surely visit you, and you shall carry up my bones from here. (Gén 50:26)  -  8 / 80.

So Joseph died, being 110 years old. They embalmed him, and he was put in a coffin in Egypt. ()  -  9 / 80.

The archers bitterly attacked him, shot at him, and harassed him severely, (Gén 49:24)   -  10 / 80.

yet his bow remained unmoved; his arms were made agile by the hands of the Mighty One of Jacob (from there is the Shepherd, the Stone of Israel), (Gén 49:25)   -  11 / 80.

by the God of your father who will help you, by the Almighty who will bless you with blessings of heaven above, blessings of the deep that crouches beneath, blessings of the breasts and of the womb. (Gén 49:26)   -  12 / 80.

The blessings of your father are mighty beyond the blessings of my parents, up to the bounties of the everlasting hills. May they be on the head of Joseph, and on the brow of him who was set apart from his brothers. (Gén 49:27)   -  13 / 80.

Benjamin is a ravenous wolf, in the morning devouring the prey and at evening dividing the spoil. (Gén 49:28)  -  14 / 80.

All these are the twelve tribes of Israel. This is what their father said to them as he blessed them, blessing each with the blessing suitable to him. (Gén 49:29)  -  15 / 80.

Then he commanded them and said to them, I am to be gathered to my people; bury me with my fathers in the cave that is in the field of Ephron the Hittite, (Gén 49:30)  -  16 / 80.

in the cave that is in the field at Machpelah, to the east of Mamre, in the land of Canaan, which Abraham bought with the field from Ephron the Hittite to possess as a burying place. (Gén 49:31)  -  17 / 80.

There they buried Abraham and Sarah his wife. There they buried Isaac and Rebekah his wife, and there I buried Leah -- (Gén 49:32)  -  18 / 80.

the field and the cave that is in it were bought from the Hittites. (Gén 49:33)  -  19 / 80.

When Jacob finished commanding his sons, he drew up his feet into the bed and breathed his last and was gathered to his people. (Gén 50:1)  -  20 / 80.

Then Joseph fell on his fathers face and wept over him and kissed him. (Gén 50:2)  -  21 / 80.

And Joseph commanded his servants the physicians to embalm his father. So the physicians embalmed Israel. (Gén 50:3)  -  22 / 80.

Forty days were required for it, for that is how many are required for embalming. And the Egyptians wept for him seventy days. (Gén 50:4)  -  23 / 80.

And when the days of weeping for him were past, Joseph spoke to the household of Pharaoh, saying, If now I have found favor in your eyes, please speak in the ears of Pharaoh, saying, (Gén 50:5)  -  24 / 80.

My father made me swear, saying, I am about to die: in my tomb that I hewed out for myself in the land of Canaan, there shall you bury me. Now therefore, let me please go up and bury my father. Then I will return. (Gén 50:6)  -  25 / 80.

And Pharaoh answered, Go up, and bury your father, as he made you swear. (Gén 50:7)  -  26 / 80.

So Joseph went up to bury his father. With him went up all the servants of Pharaoh, the elders of his household, and all the elders of the land of Egypt, (Gén 50:8)  -  27 / 80.

as well as all the household of Joseph, his brothers, and his fathers household. Only their children, their flocks, and their herds were left in the land of Goshen. (Gén 50:9)  -  28 / 80.

And there went up with him both chariots and horsemen. It was a very great company. (Gén 50:10)  -  29 / 80.

When they came to the threshing floor of Atad, which is beyond the Jordan, they lamented there with a very great and grievous lamentation, and he made a mourning for his father seven days. (Gén 50:11)  -  30 / 80.

When the inhabitants of the land, the Canaanites, saw the mourning on the threshing floor of Atad, they said, This is a grievous mourning by the Egyptians. Therefore the place was named Abel-mizraim;[1] it is beyond the Jordan. (Gén 50:12)  -  31 / 80.

Thus his sons did for him as he had commanded them, (Gén 50:13)  -  32 / 80.

for his sons carried him to the land of Canaan and buried him in the cave of the field at Machpelah, to the east of Mamre, which Abraham bought with the field from Ephron the Hittite to possess as a burying place. (Gén 50:14)  -  33 / 80.

After he had buried his father, Joseph returned to Egypt with his brothers and all who had gone up with him to bury his father. (Gén 50:15)  -  34 / 80.

When Josephs brothers saw that their father was dead, they said, It may be that Joseph will hate us and pay us back for all the evil that we did to him. (Gén 50:16)  -  35 / 80.

So they sent a message to Joseph, saying, Your father gave this command before he died, (Gén 50:17)  -  36 / 80.

Say to Joseph, Please forgive the transgression of your brothers and their sin, because they did evil to you. And now, please forgive the transgression of the servants of the God of your father. Joseph wept when they spoke to him. (Gén 50:18)  -  37 / 80.

His brothers also came and fell down before him and said, Behold, we are your servants. (Gén 50:19)  -  38 / 80.

But Joseph said to them, Do not fear, for am I in the place of God? (Gén 50:20)  -  39 / 80.

As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today. (Gén 50:21)  -  40 / 80.

So do not fear; I will provide for you and your little ones. Thus he comforted them and spoke kindly to them. (Gén 50:22)  -  41 / 80.

So Joseph remained in Egypt, he and his fathers house. Joseph lived 110 years. (Gén 50:23)  -  42 / 80.

And Joseph saw Ephraims children of the third generation. The children also of Machir the son of Manasseh were counted as Josephs own. (Gén 50:24)  -  43 / 80.

And Joseph said to his brothers, I am about to die, but God will visit you and bring you up out of this land to the land that he swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob. (Gén 50:25)  -  44 / 80.

Then Joseph made the sons of Israel swear, saying, God will surely visit you, and you shall carry up my bones from here. (Gén 50:26)  -  45 / 80.

So Joseph died, being 110 years old. They embalmed him, and he was put in a coffin in Egypt. ()  -  46 / 80.

In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth. (Gén 1:2)  -  47 / 80.

The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. (Gén 1:3)  -  48 / 80.

And God said, Let there be light, and there was light. (Gén 1:4)  -  49 / 80.

And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness. (Gén 1:5)  -  50 / 80.

God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day. (Gén 1:6)  -  51 / 80.

And God said, Let there be an expanse[1] in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters. (Gén 1:7)  -  52 / 80.

And God made the expanse and separated the waters that were under the expanse from the waters that were above the expanse. And it was so. (Gén 1:8)  -  53 / 80.

And God called the expanse Heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, the second day. (Gén 1:9)  -  54 / 80.

And God said, Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear. And it was so. (Gén 1:10)  -  55 / 80.

God called the dry land Earth, and the waters that were gathered together he called Seas. And God saw that it was good. (Gén 1:11)  -  56 / 80.

And God said, Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, on the earth. And it was so. (Gén 1:12)  -  57 / 80.

The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed according to their own kinds, and trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. (Gén 1:13)  -  58 / 80.

And there was evening and there was morning, the third day. (Gén 1:14)  -  59 / 80.

And God said, Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years, (Gén 1:15)  -  60 / 80.

and let them be lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth. And it was so. (Gén 1:16)  -  61 / 80.

And God made the two great lights -- the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night -- and the stars. (Gén 1:17)  -  62 / 80.

And God set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth, (Gén 1:18)  -  63 / 80.

to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good. (Gén 1:19)  -  64 / 80.

And there was evening and there was morning, the fourth day. (Gén 1:20)  -  65 / 80.

And God said, Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the heavens. (Gén 1:21)  -  66 / 80.

So God created the great sea creatures and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarm, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. (Gén 1:22)  -  67 / 80.

And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth. (Gén 1:23)  -  68 / 80.

And there was evening and there was morning, the fifth day. (Gén 1:24)  -  69 / 80.

And God said, Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kinds -- livestock and creeping things and beasts of the earth according to their kinds. And it was so. (Gén 1:25)  -  70 / 80.

And God made the beasts of the earth according to their kinds and the livestock according to their kinds, and everything that creeps on the ground according to its kind. And God saw that it was good. (Gén 1:26)  -  71 / 80.

Then God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth. (Gén 1:27)  -  72 / 80.

So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. (Gén 1:28)  -  73 / 80.

And God blessed them. And God said to them, Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth. (Gén 1:29)  -  74 / 80.

And God said, Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food. (Gén 1:30)  -  75 / 80.

And to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food. And it was so. (Gén 1:31)  -  76 / 80.

And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day. (Gén 2:1)  -  77 / 80.

Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them. (Gén 2:2)  -  78 / 80.

And on the seventh day God finished his work that he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all his work that he had done. (Gén 2:3)  -  79 / 80.

So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it God rested from all his work that he had done in creation. (Gén 2:4)  -  80 / 80.
